Enhancing performance requires optimizing movement efficiencies and working with the neural system.
FAQ:
What does movement efficiency mean?
Have you ever seen a baby who is starting to walk? At first, the movements are cognitive and awkward. As the baby practices walking, the movements become more fluid and automatic (below the level of consciousness). The baby enhances his movement efficiencies with purpose and practice.
What sports do you work with?
Enhancing movement efficiencies is enhancing sports performance. This will translate across all sports.
What do you mean by Neural System?
The neural system, as I work with yours, is about making sure that both sides of the brain are working together (convergence of the eyes). Additionally, I integrate the visual, vestibular and proprioceptive systems into the movements of your specific sport.
THE SPORTS PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT should happen first. We will evaluate your sports performance requirements, neural system and your brain systems.
For example, if you are a baseball player: I evaluate your swing, your sports vision, your balance, neural system and movement efficiencies. But most of the time, it isn’t the swing that is the problem. The problem could be tightness, weakness, sports vision, balance or all of the above.
